1984-1985: Visiting Research Engineer, MIT

Selected by Ericsson and MIT to be a visiting research engineer, I spent 15 exciting months in Professor Arvind's group designing the network for the MIT Emulation Facility. The facility consisted of 64 Lisp machines connected by a high-performance network. It was used to emulate new parallel architectures and interconnects. I designed the interface between the processor and the interconnect.
