Biography
My research interests lie mainly in the intersection of data-driven modelling and control, learning for control, and statistical inference.
I was a postdoctoral researcher at the division of Systems and Control of Uppsala University.
Before that, I held a postdoctoral researcher position at the division of Decision and Control Systems at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm. I was awarded a Licentiate degree (teknologie licentiat) and a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, in 2017 and 2019, respectively, both from KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
In 2012, I received a M.Sc. degree in Space Science and Technology from Luleå University of Technology in Sweden, and a M.Sc. (Ing.) degree in Systems and Control (with dean's prize for exceptional thesis) from the Czech Technical University in the Czech Republic.
I received a B.Sc. degree in Electrical Power and Machines Engineering (with honours) in 2008 from Helwan University in Egypt.
