WAY (Where Are You) is based on a development of the wireless positioning technology that we have developed to use signal strength mappings and a heuristic algorithm to identify the position of a wireless unit within +- 2meters accuracy. The LanPos technolgy basis is used in a ICQ like client to provide a collaboration tool that allows users to specify working groups and to specify visibility criteria. The tool shows who is online and visible to a given user (at the current time) and by clicking on their representation in the "contact list" their location in the building is presented using a floor plan.
