This workshop is a joint event, organized by the research groups at the Department of Scientific Computations, Sofia and the Division of Scientific Computing , Uppsala.

The event is in honor of Professor Owe Axelsson and is yet another recognision of his numerous and fundamental contributions in the field of preconditioned iterative solution methods and their efficient implementation in various platforms of high performance computers, in connection of his 75th anniversary.

During this two half-days forum we will present research topics, pursued in the two organizing groups, which will overview importnt topics, report novel results and emphasize the connection between numerical efficiency and computational efficiency, and how to achieve both when performing large scale numerical simulations.

We welcome all colleagues who have interests in the above topics issues.
