The goal of this document is to help remedy the wireless connection problem 'No internet, secured' on an ASUS E502SA Notebook.
  1. 'Control Panel' | 'Device Manager'.
  2. Expand 'Network adapters'.
  3. Look for an adapter with 'Wireless LAN' or 'WiFi' or 'WLAN' in its name.
  4. Right-click on it, select 'Properties'.
  5. Click 'Advanced'.
  6. Select 'Bandwidth', and change the value to '20MHz Only'.
  7. Click 'OK'. You should now be able to ping your router.

An alternative - possibly more generic? - way to do the same thing.
  1. 'Control Panel' | 'Network and Sharing Centre'.
  2. Click 'Change adapter settings'.
  3. Right-click on 'WiFi', select 'Properties'.
  4. Click 'Configure...'.
  5. Click 'Advanced'.
  6. Select 'Bandwidth', and change the value to '20MHz Only'.
  7. Click 'OK'. You should now be able to ping your router and any site.

Oddly enough, if you reset 'Bandwidth' to '20_40MHz', chances are that your WiFi will still work. But better not count on it!
