I prefer to install in C:\programs\ConEmu-180617, but you can install anywhere you want. 

To use ConEmu as the console user interface for the Linux terminal in Windows 10,  make sure
you choose {Bash::bash} under "Choose your startup task or even a shell with arguments:",

To make WSL start as your default user rather than as "root", do
winKey + alt + p. Under <Startup | Tasks | alt + c>, then type
	%windir%\system32\bash.exe --noprofile
and click on "Save settings".

If you want to be able to access the lxss folder, %LocalAppData%\lxss,
you may want to uncheck "Hide protected operating system files (recommended)"
