I spent July to December 1998 at the Universite de Rouen where I was working on a parallel architecture for object recognition in aerial images. This project uses a hardware architecture to accelerate the execution of a technique called Geometric Hashing.
To achieve real time object recognition we have developed a dedicated hardware architecture which applies FPGA and multiprocessor software technology to the problem.
