Methodology

Investigation Framework

Survey selected students and both course staff. Conduct interviews that give contextual information based on a standard set of questions.

Collect activity logs, and ask questions about the data revealed in those logs in terms of the use of wireless technology in a course related context.

Objectives of the Surveys

Both surveys attempt to develop a framework within which one might attempt to classify and understand behaviours that develop using wireless technology in a teaching and learning context.

Survey 1:

To establish the experience with and expectations for Wireless networks in students and teaching staff.

Survey 2:

To evaluate the actual use of wireless, and the extent to which the expectations of staff and students were met, exceeded or developed differently than expected.
