The Pugwash movement was founded in the 1950s by scientists concerned about the nuclear arms race. The starting point was the Einsten-Russell manifesto, signed by many prominent scientists.

Student Pugwash Sweden has members mainly in Uppsala, and one of our main activities is to arrange lectures about interesting subjects.
