Hotel

ASE'99 is being held at the Cocoa Beach Hilton in Cocoa Beach, Florida. A nightly room rate of $89 (plus ~10% tax) has been arranged for a single or double room. The rates are valid from October 8 through October 17th (3 dates before and after the conference).

For reservations from the US, call their local toll free number +1 800 345 6565 (Hilton reservation desk, 24h). For outside the US, check the Hilton web site for toll-free international reservation numbers. Identify the hotel and that you are attending the IEEE convention (they don't seem to have ASE99 as reference name). Hotel reservations MUST BE made before 5pm Eastern time on Monday, 20 September 1999. Hotel rooms are at a premium. Get your reservation in before 20 September 1999. We recommend making reservations as soon as possible due to the Space Shuttle launch.

Airport Info

The airport code for the Orlando International Airport is MCO.

Airport transportation is $16 one way, every hour, from Orlando Int'l, so renting an economy car under the special deal makes sense for groups of 4 or more. (Thanks Pierre) We found out that you need to have reservations for the shuttle : call 407-784-4144.
