Abstract:

An important part of methods for solving compressible viscous flows, as modelled by the Navier-Stokes equations, are implicit time integration schemes. Thereby, nowadays hardware requires low storage parallel methods. To this end, the software library TEMPO is described, which uses a time adaptive Jacobian-free framework to achieve this. Here, the preconditioner is a crucial component and a new approach for the design of multigrid preconditioners is discussed.
