In this presentation we discuss the advantages and disadvantages of an attempt to modernize teaching by introducing ICT technologies in the classroom. So-called Studio Courses in Studio Classrooms result. In particular we focus on Numerical Analysis courses that are being taught in this fashion in the Bachelor Mathematics at the University of Amsterdam, and in the National Master Mathematics (Netherlands).
