Subject: perfctr-2.7.18 released

Version 2.7.18 of perfctr, the Linux performance monitoring
counters kernel extension, is now available at the usual
place: http://www.csd.uu.se/~mikpe/linux/perfctr/2.7/

This only fixes a user-space bug; hence the kernel components
still claim to be at version 2.7.17.

Version 2.7.18, 2005-06-06
- Fixed a 32/64-bit bug in the vperfctr_read_ctrs() library
  function, which caused problems on ppc64 and unnecessary
  overheads on x86. The bug was introduced in perfctr-2.7.16.
