I am currently a Post-doc researcher with the Moment group at the Department of Computer Science, University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB). Visit my new homepage here.

Research Summary

During my years as a PhD. student, I was a member of the Computer Communication Research group  (CoRe), at the department of Information Technology, Uppsala University, Sweden. My research area was computer communication, with an emphasis on experimental aspects of wireless ad hoc networks. I was part of the team that developed the Ad hoc Protocol Evaluation (APE) test bed and the AODV-UU implementation of the AODV routing protocol. The research resulted in my PhD thesis titled: "Implementation and Experimental Evaluation of Wireless Ad hoc Routing Protocols".  Read more here...

My current research (at UCSB) focuses on wireless mesh networking. I am a project manager and co-designer of the UCSB MeshNet test bed . Visit my new homepage here.

Teaching Summary

Most recently I was involved in the Datakom I, Datakom II, and Datakom III courses. My teaching tasks ranged from teaching assistance (TA) and project supervision to being a guest lecturer on specific topics. I have also supervised several MSc. theses within the area of data communication. Earlier teaching commitments included being a TA for the Operating Systems and the Cryptology and Data Security courses. Read more here...
