Dandelion Fields, dandelion sun
The place where it all begun
Where birds would sing and flowers sway
And deer would graze upon the hay
Where music soared and cheers would fly
Where hope was good and spirit high
Where men and women of the land
Side by side as equal stand
In friendship, honour and in trust
Their running fills the air with dust
Where their skills would come to test
And they all lie down to rest
The scent of fires in the breeze
The many minds put at ease
Where earthly needs forgotten are
Where no one claims to be the star
A giant roar, a thunder crack
A final end brought forth on track
Who thread the dirt that daylight shun
And crush the last dandelion sun
