Ozymandius

      I met a traveller from an antique land,
      Who said: Two vast and trunkless legs of stone

I studied at La Trobe University in Australia between 1982 and 1994 taking a BSc(Hons) in computer science and applied mathematics and a PhD in Computer Science focussing on evaluation of topology and memory subsystem designs for distributed shared memory (DSM) multiprocessor systems. During this time I developed a DSM multiprocessor simulation suite togther Dr Rhys Francis and Mr Ian Mathieson.

I worked from 1991 to 2000 at the Computer Science Department at La Trobe University in Melbourne, Australia. I was a lecturer (and from 1998-200 a senior lecturer) at La Trobe, while paying visits in 1995 and 1998 to the Universities of Paris XIII and Rouen in France to do research.

At Uppsala University I am a senior researcher in the Communications Research and Computer Science Education Research groups.
