In order to obtain the functional database system Amos II you must agree to the software license below.
The licensor, Tore Risch (Uppsala University, Box 337, 751 05 Uppsala, Sweden, Tore.Risch @it.uu.se), is willing to license this software to you upon the condition that you accept all of the terms contained in this license agreement. By downloading the software, you accept the terms and condition of this license. If you are not willing to be bound by its terms, select the 'Decline' buttom at the bottom of this page and the downloading process will not continue. 1.The licensor hereby grants you the right to use the system for your employees or students on arbitrary computers for evaluation, research, and teaching purposes. You have no right to use the system for commercial purposes. 2.You will advise any enquirers for this software to contact the licensor directly. You have no right to pass system and/or documentation to third parties. 3.The licensor does not guarantee for the correctness or suitability of the system (software as well as documentation), and does not take responsibility for any damages, direct or indirect, that may be caused by the system. 4.The licensor has no obligation to maintain the system or to provide user support. 5.If results and experiences of the work with the system are published by the licensee, the licensee will send URLs, electronic copies, or paper copies of these papers to the licensor. 6.If the licensee has got source code of the system, too, this includes the right to adapt the system to special requirements. In this case, the modified software will become subject of this license agreement. 7.The licensor has the right to revoke the given license in case of a any violation of this agreement.
