Other interests

I sail in the archipelago of Stockholm (my 41 foot beauty is of the type S30 , my boat). I play chamber music (play violin, viola and cello) and am a member of the Heisenberg string quartet since 1990. I am a member of Mazer Quartet Society in Stockholm and the American Chamber Music Players (ACMP). I also play jazz (play double base, banjo and violin), even though that is becoming more sporadic these days.  In the good old days I played in SMusK, Stcokholms Jazzorkester, Juzzt Seven and Bas-Klas and his ten doctors of synchopation. 

My mid-life crises is being tamed by participation in different sport events. Year 2000 roster:  Vasaloppet (90 km ski race), Postrodden (rowing 24 nautic miles), Stockholmsloppet (21 km road race) and Midnattsloppet (10 km road race).
